Flock 2 Beta

Thursday, June 26, 2008

I've been using Flock almost a week now. I'm enjoying using this browser. As a social web browser it integrates most of my favorites sites into the browser like facebook, twitter, flickr, etc. So I can see my friends' updates without having to open the all the websites. And I can use Flock to find images and videos from flickr, picasaweb, photobucket and also youtube.

Download the beta software now and don't worry about rumors using a beta version software. This browser built on top of Firefox 3, the most powerful browser on the planet.

This is how to install the Flock 2 Beta on Linux (Ubuntu) machine:

$ tar xjf flock-2.0b1.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2
$ sudo mv flock/ /opt/
$ cd /opt/flock/
$ ./flock-browser

Opera 9.5

Thursday, June 12, 2008

Opera Software just released Opera 9.5. You can grab it from the official website at I already downloaded for Linux and Windows version. Opera 9.5 has clean and elegant UI. Finally, they've learned and I think it's from the new Firefox 3. The previous version I must admit the ugliest browser I've used so far that I must tweak it to make it just 'nice'. But not this one, I think I'm going to use it a lot. Good works, Opera! Love it!

Stop Detecting My Language!

Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Google is smart! I think everyone in this world can not argue with that. But I don't like the way Google always change the default language to use Indonesian. For example this front page.

Yes, I can easily change the language from the drop down menu. But what happen if some websites do not detect my language properly? Like for example.
